ABOUT US
ERVHN is a registered CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation -1197679) made up of representatives from village and community halls across the East Riding.
Together we aim to share the best practice and help each other with issues, training and information.
ERVHN provides members with informal and formal advice with guidance through network meetings, training events, projects, publications and telephone and email advice service.
Membership includes that of Humber Wolds Rural Action (HWRA) with access to the dedicated village halls advisor at HWRA, to assist you with questions on the running of your hall.
We are able to provide Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) guidance documents, which give policy templates and information about everything from health and safety to running a lottery, and safeguarding.
ERVHN actively promotes the Hallmark quality assurance scheme and many insurance providers will give a discount if you have achieved this accreditation.

ERVHN represents village halls at the East Riding Rural Partnership and the East Riding Voluntary, Charity and Social Enterprise Network.
